Since becoming a charity registered with the Charity Commission (Reg. No. 1062442), we have adopted the template from them to govern our organisation.

The main part of any constitution is its objects, the reason behind becoming a charity.

The following is a copy of our objects.  

Name

The name of the association is The Crookhall Foundation.

Objects 

The Charities objects are to provide for the inhabitants of Crookhall and District and the neighbourhood (hereinafter called ‘the area of benefit’), in the interests of social welfare, facilities for recreation and leisure time occupation and with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants, and to promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for playing cricket, football and other sports, with the emphasis being placed on the young inhabitants.  In addition the Charity will promote the former mining heritage of the community by way of the preservation and display of miner’s banners.
