Crookhall Foundation Sports

Crookhall Foundation Sports was established in 2015 by Chris Shield with the aim of providing people of all ages the opportunity to participate in sport.  Prior to the establishment of the junior football teams Chris focused on the delivery of sports clubs during school holidays to enable children to be active and learn to develop respect and team work.  The first clubs operated that summer and were so successful they have run every school holiday since.

The clubs operate whatever the weather with activities based in Crookhall Community Centre when the weather is not so good.

The summer holiday clubs in 2015 and 2016 both culminated in a sports day which always proves popular.

Below are just some images of the Clubs in action.

Update – October 2017

Whilst we are sad to announce that Crookhall Foundation Sports will not be able to run the usual sports club at half term this is because our coach Chris Shield has recently achieved his hard earned degree and has been successful in obtaining a job which we are pleased to say will enable him to put into practice his coaching skills and enable him to reach a wider audience still. Hopefully Chris may be able to help us with the sports clubs at some future date but for now he will continue to coach our under 9’s football team.  We wish Chris every success in his new role.
